India behind the 2021 Johar Town Blast: Pakistan
Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said Pakistan has “irrefutable evidence” about the perpetrators of the blast of June 13, 2021 at Johar Town, Lahore. Involvement of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in this incident has been confirmed in light of this evidence. He furhter said that so far, Pakistan has apprehended three locals involved in the blast.
The minister was speaking to media in a presser he held along with AIG of CTD Punjab. He claimed,“India was not only behind the Johar Town blast, but was also found involved in fanning terrorism in Pakistan.” The minister hinted that Pakistan will eventually take the matter to international level. In this regard, he said,” The foreign affairs secretary will highlight the issue at different world forums while Minister for Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will raise the matter of Indian involvement in terror financing and subversive activities in Pakistan at the United Nations.”
He accused India for involvement of massive terrorist activities in Pakistan in the past as well when people gathered in religious places like mosques and imambargahs were targeted by Indian sponsored terrorist out fit. He clearly hinted towards Afghanistan based TTP whose links with Indian military establishment Pakistan has already unearthed. “Pakistan has been facing terrorism for several decades, and Pakistanis including citizens, personnel of armed forces, police, Rangers and agencies, journalists, and politicians have either lost their lives in this war or became its victims.”, he added while praising the sacrifices made by Pakistani society in its fight against terrorism.
He said gatherings at mosques, imambargahs, important buildings and elsewhere were targeted. India had remained involved in every form of terrorism in Pakistan.
He also mentioned the case of Indian spy arrested by Pakistan in 2016, Kulbhushan Jadhav and said that the confession of Jadhav was sufficient proof about direct Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.
